Isn't it Ironic...don't ya think?

Just had to get a word in about Obie's most recent idocies (seriously, if Bush EVER did even 1/4 of the crazy things that Obie does, he'd have been impeached by the libs. before the first 100 days was up).

I just can't get over this most recent travesty of justice perpetuated yet again by The One (well, I really cannot fathom ANY of the choices HE has been making on our behalfs lately - from turning General Motors into Government Motors, letting it file B. now that we've already dished out millions to it and will continue to do so with a blank check though that defeats capitalism and ROBS other reputable car industries that can still stand on their own feet b/c of being responsible...ah, the injustice. Or how about picking and choosing who does and does not get to have Nuk's according to Obama despite the Nuclear Treaty signed at the UN? Nevertheless...I digress, oh so many issues and so little time left...for freedom, that is)/

So Baby-Killer Tiller gets popped by a crazy white man for making MILLIONS and gaining notoriety for being one of the few doctors to perform LATE-term abortions and Obie sends out a statement immediately declaring his outrage, sending FEDERAL MARSHALLS to guard the other abortion doctors/clinics (and yes, once again the Conservatives get the tab for this - getting blamed, of all things, for bringing this man to the spotlight for his 60k+ baby killing spree for people to take aim at him).

Same time, a man who was converted in prison to the Muslim religion takes it upon himself to start a religious killing rampage (though he did not get very far) and pops some recruits at a local Army recruiting station. He had more on his hit list, but as all of these jihadists are- he is an idiot and the plan never got past point A. It takes being bashed by Conservatives and a few days to stew by Obie to finally make a statement to say that he is "saddened" by the senseless murder of one of the recruits and hopes the other has a speedy recovery. Ah, touches your soul doesn't it? It wasn't senseless, it was planned and he was converted in prison - the VERY place the libs. are suggesting we send the Gitmo detainees. Is anyone connecting the dots here? It has been proven how many converts to the Muslim religion in prision at an astounding rate. What do these wonderful citizens to when we let them out? Hmm....go back to the beginning of this paragraph for an answer to that one. Has Obie sent anyone to guard the Military recruiting stations like he did for the Abortion Clinics? Um, no- that doesn't apparently compute in his world - and this in the wake of his most touching answer that the ones who matter the most to him are those who serve in our military and their families. Gotta protect the killing of innocent babies over military soldiers though - that's what life's all about isn't it, well, Obie's agenda anyhow.

I LOVE reading Michelle Malkin's blog for some comic relief to all of this as she combines facts with idiocy. Read here for more details and a good laugh: http://michellemalkin.com/2009/06/03/finally-obamas-limp-statement-on-the-jihadi-attack-in-arkansas/

I am so glad to have a smart, conservative friend. Sometimes I feel so alone!

Have you heard what they're doing to commemorate Tiller's life? They had a FREE abortion day. So to celebrate the life of a man who killed over 60,000 babies....you kill some more.

I've become politics obsessed since Slade was born. My family was always very openly Conservative and would discuss things with each other, but I was fairly distant from it. When I began my own family and realized how serious things have become (and I realized I needed to become as active as my family for my own family's sake, the obsession snowballed from there. :)

It's funny b/c I live in an area where our ward has many strong liberal women - I just can't fathom it. My conservative friends don't blog in general, so when I began blogging about conservative issues, I pretty much distanced myself from those who were formerly participants in my blog. I just don't understand how the justification takes place for those who share my religious beliefs at church but not in real life. There is just no justification for abortion - period. There are so many issues that there can be no justification on and plenty of church materials to back it up....it just boggles the mind.

I used to feel very alone as well, but my family is very actively educated in what is going on as well as my husband- that helps! :) I also turn on the radio/news daily and listen to/watch Limbaugh, Lonsberry, Ingraham, Medved, Dr. Laura, O'Reilly, Malkin, Hannity, etc... I've also been reading their books and feel so vindicated or related to or supported...

I'm just sad to not see more peole coming out in 'normal' life in support of Conservative issues (I know very few people who attended or supported the tea parties or who aren't afraid of offending their liberal friends to support Conservative causes, though it's no wonder. Look what happens when anyone dares to go against mainstream/populist ideaology- they get lambasted. While there's something to be said for living a good life and showing others by example- we are responsible for being informed and actively defending our rights and liberties and protecting the innocent.

My sister and I are currently looking around for a good Conservative group in the area to join and try to become more active in whatever ways we can.

I was driving Jason's car one day and turned on the radio. To my suprise the programed station was the one that hosted Rush Limbaugh. I don't like him, never have but the topic he wanted to talk about sounded interesting so I kept the station...for about two minutes. The only thing that happened was that he illistrated once again why I can't stand to listen to him. He ruined an interesting topic with fanatical raving that was so clearly exagerated for shock value. Blegh- I can't stand it when anyone does that- it makes them sound like a moron and makes me change the chanel.

Terra- that's kind of funny b/c I used to feel the EXACT same way about him. Every time my mom or sister would turn him on in the car I'd protest b/c I couldn't stand hearing him self-congratulate or bloviate about something to death. Now, however, when I listen to what he is saying I understand why he rants on the way that he does. You won't hear about things from a Conservative prospective from ANY major mainstream media outlet. In fact, it is quite the opposite- which is why Rush refers to them as the State-run media now. They are in the liberal pocket in each and every thing they do, say, and report. It drives me nuts that people go on and on about if you're Conservative you must be a nutjob who's been watching too much FOX News, when in fact FOX and people like Rush are the only normal outlet there is. Every major outlet is Obama-cized and you won't hear the other side of anything. That's why Rush will go on about issues- you say exagerate, but what he is doing is spelling it out for the American people who are becoming so brainwashed by 'popular' media that they have to be rocked back into real life and have it repeated in catching tones for them to let it sink in.

Now when I listen to him I become so educated in how differing the perspectives are of Liberals vs. Conservatives and that there is a whole other side to the story that never makes it to "Primetime" or Katie Couric's notebook.

We get mainstream media's views and opinions shoved into our faces every which way we turn so easily. When you turn on Rush, or at least when I do, it's a breath of fresh, sane air. He speaks the truth, he speaks in facts, he spells out for the Obama-zombies what is truly happening in our country in reaction to what The One is doing.

It blows my mind how Obama gets away with saying and doing all of the hypocritical things that he does. Rush doesn't make this stuff up- I go daily and read the actual speeches that come from Obama and I can't believe it. From the outrageous lies and defenses he spoke of in his Cairo speech, to the way he protects abortion doctors and not soldiers (though he claims that soldiers are very dear to him, he obviously cares more for the liberal vote that he made so many campaign promises to, and supports and protects with MY tax dollars), to telling the American people to sacrifice daily as he uses $70k MORE of my and my children's tax dollars to fund a date night excursion to broadway for he, his wife, and their entourage. I can go on and on. I feel vindicated listening to Rush and the other Conservative media hosts who get lambasted from the Left for everything but take it and move on.

I'm so grateful for Rush and his show and for all of the people who support wholeheartedly the Conservative movement and still value the things that make our country great.

I wish more people would listen to the content of what he says, challenge anything they believe to be untrue, and realize that the reason society is being torn apart and is going so far south is because no one cares enough anymore to be active and stand up for our own rights or the rights of the innocent. We'd rather have someone else work hard and hand their earnings to us on a silver platter.

What you call fanatical raving, I call a daily 'call to arms' and a fight to keep sacred that which is very quickly losing ground to those who only value themselves.

Also, if you listen to Oberman or the big Lefties you hear the EXACT same finatical raving only from their perspective. That means, instead of talking facts or reality, they seek to viciously tear down Conservative thinkers by using literal name calling of the most abhorrent kind (ex. teabagger), seeking to take down potential presidential runners (Sarah Palin takes so much disgusting and unlevel heat from mainstream media simply for her beliefs- which they claim everyone deserves unmitigated right to), pretty much just seeking to tear down anyone who doesn't believe in and vote for exactly.

Ah, well I could go on and on...
