Going Private...

For those of you who can read this it means you accepted your invite to this blog- I've 'gone private' with the blog just because, well and we've added the BoyScouts Blog to my Dashboard and it seems more appropriate that way. I'd also like to post more private goings on from my brain (no more politics though, can't handle it anymore - I don't want this baby coming out crazed) and you who I've extended the invite to likely already understand the seeming oddity that my direction of my thoughts can sometimes take and have accepted me regardless. :)

With all the craziness going around and that I will pretty much only be using our blog for family matters to share with friends and other family anyway so it seemed unnecessary to allow other strangers to view and comment on it (and they do, I receive some strange emails that only serve to remind me that there are people out there just a little more odd than I. Plus, I just think blog hopping has got to be insanely time-consuming/wasting and a little odd).

Hopefully we should have some fun news to post about the new baby soon. Slade continues to be Slade. He is always adding funny new things into his personality and adding love into our lives as I continue to work on being more normal, a better more unselfish mother, and putting the gospel first in my life.

I promise, though, I'll be better and start posting more pictures and fun kiddie things (just because I love you that much Terra :).

Good call. We keep talking about it but haven't quite done it yet. I am sure it will be coming soon. :)

Jayme- I'll add you, but for the moment I've opened it back up for anybody to view. Yes, I've flip-flopped shortly after I said I was going to do the opposite....Just call me Obama.

I'm back and forth with the politics too. You get so sick of it then get back into it when your stomach can take it again and there's just more and more outrage going on. I'm sure I will post more, but my readership has never been great so I'm often just offering soliloquies I think. Oh well, at least I get it off of my chest.

I've reopened it though b/c I've had some extended family that has heard about some of my posts and have become interested to read some. They never posted comments so I had no idea, but apparently they felt like they were becoming informed and have been intrigued (which is sad b/c I am so underinformed and trying to catch up!). I guess it just helps to support others as we are trying to restore things to the way they should be.

Should I even tell you that our R.S. Pres. is a lib. and made a comment on her facebook page about all the teabaggers (on Tea Party day) that she didn't know she was friends with? She even knew what the real def. meant. Did you see how ticked O'Reilly was about all of the wonderful lib. media using that word and all of the double entendres that the media was obsessed with? I was so sick of it all and so amazed to see educated people joking on national TV about it. I'm surprised the gays weren't offended but they only get offended when a beauty pageant contestant very nicely states what she believes in. Ahh, it really is just so backwards isn't it? Another soliloquy..haha
