Slade is addicted to this book. He could probably sit eating pop-ickles and look through it all day long and be happy. We read it to him at least 5 times per day - it is filled with pictures like the one on the cover- eye candy for him, if you will. Since cousin Sage was born he has been very attentive to and observant of her and has now expanded his interest to all other babies and says "Beybee" continuously as long as there is one in sight. It's a good thing because this year for his birthday he'll be getting one! It's official, today Slade & I heard the heartbeat and found out all is well so far! The baby is due a day after his birthday - and God willing- it will NOT be like my last experience. I envision that this go around the birthing process will go smooth as butter and I'll be a well-rested lady for it! We're shooting for a VBAC but we'll see how big this one gets before resting our hopes on it.
We've got plenty of girl names picked out, but if it's a boy....? Like Teresa, we're stumped. Well, Mark's not, but I am. :) We'll be happy for whatever the good Lord sends us, but for my sanity I'm hoping it's a nice, laid back, easy-going girl! :) Last time I said that and believe it was a girl until the ultrasound tech forced me to acknowledge reality...so knock on wood.
Any name suggestions are welcome.

Congratulations!! I am excited for you guys. How are you feeling?
CONGRATS CONGRATS CONGRATS YOU TWO!
Oh and I always pitch Amelia for a girl name, because it's basically the best. As for a boy, maybe you could pull a Utah and combine your names? Lizark? Miz?
What happened to Rockwell? I'm no help with boy names, we are still nameless! Congrats again and I too hope you get a girl, although they aren't always super laid back and easy to deal with, didn't you hear about my child and her mean teeth?
Congratulations!! I love having 2. It is so much more fun. Good luck with the VBAC. I had no desire to have one! :)
Congratulations! I'm so excited for you guys!
Congrats! You'll be a busy mama:)
Thanks everyone for the love and support! We're pretty excited!! I think the nausea and hormonal tears are behind us for the moment so right now the pregnancy is good. :)
I love Slade at this age - too bad they can't be born 18 months old! I am really looking forward to having 2 as well Jayme, I think it'll be better for lots of reasons. I think it'll probaby come to another C-section, as long as I'm well rested I'm good with it, but Mark's saying now that he maybe wants upwards of 6 kids- can't do that with all C-sections I don't think. We'll see...:)
Amelia- I didn't know Utahans combined names, but they do like to name their kids the exact same name. If it made the top 10 for baby names..then's its good enough for 90% of UT kids. :)
Teresa- I like the name ok, but can't yet reconcile calling my son Rock or Rocky....?
Congrats again guys! We are so happy for you guys, and we can't wait to see you in a few days!
Thanks so much!
