Slade Pictures....

Before I begin- I just want to throw in that today (due to a lot of built up stresses in many areas of our life right now) I needed a good friend but I didn't really know that until she showed up on my doorstep...with cake. The Lord knows what we need and when we try to do our best He blesses us. Thank you, friend, for your time and love today, it was much needed and appreciated more than you probably realized at the time- may we all try to be more mindful of one another and look outside of ourselves more for opportunities to serve! Taking care of each other is what life's all about afterall! :)

Moving on - it's been awhile since I've posted any pictures of our boy- he is a beautiful growin boy!!

Slade has been growin 'toofies' and tantrums this month:

Nov. 7th, 2008 (13.5 months!)

Up close N Personal (the kid never stops, like his mother and father, the wheels never stop turnin!)
The kids wheels are always turnin- much like his father!

Ah, the plunger. Sanitized to death so that you could become my child's favorite walking toy!

I have thoroughly sanitized our plunger and it's use is no longer that of a plumbing tool, it is for some reason Slade's fav. toy!?

Slade is always giving these odd punch-drunk, come hither looks & he LOVES the ladies!

Cruisin right along!

Oh yeah- and some fun Halloween Pics for Terra (Happy Birthday you wonderful girl!!)! And yes, I do realize that his his costume is very much high-water wearin, but what do you expect for a $10 Wal-Mart cheapie? When he was standing it looked great and he got lots of compliments. No face paint this year, it was all I could do to hold him down and smear some gold glitter on! Unfortunately we couldn't snap any with a smile- he was too busy trying to figure it all out, but at least he didn't tear his hood off as he is wanton to do with head coverings since he figured out how to use his hands. Daddy has declared next year he will be something manly and not a 'dande-lion'. We had a good time but I think next year we'll try to get him together with his adorable cousins for some Halloween time for the Taylor Tots! A new tradition perhaps?

Robin (Maya), Mad Scientist (Lily), & Dande-lion (Slade)
Some of Slade's ward buds- not many male buds yet

Kairi & Jakey the Lion AND Slade the Lion & Mommy

By the end of the night my Lion had turned back into a big sleepy baby!

Ok, two disappointments...one, I kinda like your rantings (don't always agree with them, but they were surprisingly addictive) so when you decided to stop I was sad, but you're back now, so moving on to number two...where's my me and you evolution comment? I thought it was pretty clever ;)

So welcome home, your family is adorable.

Teresa- Just wait til I get our family pics back that we had shot at Wheeler Farm- Slade was so cute in them!

Marybeth- I had to laugh- can I just say I'm pleasantly surprised anyone is still reading?! I'm going to keep posting just for you- just look for the sidebar updates and when something really good hits I'll keep blogging about it! You do the same and maybe we can get some good political activity going to get people actively activated...including ourselves. I'm just glad to have found someone who'll talk openly about it without throwing their self-important condescending jibes into it without any substance as to why they don't agree.
Your evolution comment was clever- I laughed at it- good word for me. I'm definitely constantly evolving in this new area of my life. My newfound 'time' as a stay-at-homer (meaning I'm technically no longer on someone elses clock so my mind is free-er to explore into the parts of life I have been keeping at bay for lack of 'time') has left me with the ability to find new and better perspective on life and what it's all about. You get so caught up in the mumbo jumbo of daily work life that politics or any other mind-involving activity like that takes a backburner to the latest TV series- much to my own disgust now. Ever since I became pregnant and created my little loving boy I see the world much much differently and have realized home much time I've wasted thus far. I look around and see so many others stuck in the work-haze and also see so many undesirable things going on in society and people making decisions based on rhetoric instead of studying issues out or truly considering what they believe... I'm truly shaken by this past election and what is to come for many reasons and that has created the newfound anxiety for real 'change' of my own. Directed, well-thought out and prayed over change is good, rhetoric change from a very shady and unplanned character is the extreme opposite of good - we'll see. Glad you gave me another chance. :)

My favorite? THE PLUNGER! I saw mine in the middle of the bathroom the other day and have NO IDEA how it got there. ...but I have one guess.

Miss you, girl!

Thanks for the photos =) You really do have a precious little boy there. You know you'll always have a reader in me regardless if you're posting on babies or polotics.

I caught Neil in the bathroom trying to do some plunging of his own.. and our plunger has not been sanitized.. I guess its a boy thing.

How did you get your 'taylor fam' pic to fit so well on your sidebar? I tried to post mine but it has this white background and it looks like the picture doesn't fit the area well...
Let me know,
thanks!
Did you hear anything from your friend about those clothes?

Your family pics are really cute. What a family of boys!!! And the plunger, I didn't know it was a popular item among boys. I guess I better sanitize mine here soon.
